Support This Research

Supporters of The 2030 Project and of Cornell’s groundbreaking research in sunlight reflection methods (SRM) are part of a global effort to explore innovative solutions to one of the most critical concerns of our time. Contributions fuel vital scientific discovery and empower researchers to help us shape a more sustainable future for generations to come.

Regarding SRM, in particular, it is vital that we advance the research now in order to inform the decision-making that must take place imminently. Cornell is one of only a handful of select universities with critical expertise in this space, and we’re asking for your help to move this science forward.

Increased funding would help expand the research currently being done and help support the team in providing reliable, robust information about SRM that can be used in international assessments such as the next Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report.

Contributions ensure that Cornell’s approach to research around SRM remains robust, inclusive, and timely, because it’s essential that this work happen now for decision-making in the future.
