Rachel Brown

Rachel is a Business Operations and Strategy executive at Flywire, a global payments enablement and software company headquartered in Boston. She has two decades of experience advising the world’s largest corporations, public sector institutions, and philanthropies on growth strategy, product innovation, partnerships, and business development.

Before joining Flywire, Rachel was a Head of Strategy and Operations at Google, where her responsibilities included capital allocation, measurement, and communication related to the company’s social impact businesses. Prior to Google, Rachel was a Senior Principal at Boston Consulting Group, where she was a core member of the Social Impact Practice focused on advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. SDG focus areas: No Poverty | Zero Hunger | Good Health & Wellbeing | Reduced Inequalities. Rachel’s ESG expertise includes investment strategy, measurement, public-private partnerships, and operating model design. She has worked extensively with global funders including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, plus governments and NGOs in South Asia, South East Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Rachel earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA in History and Italian magna cum laude from Cornell University.
