Karrie Denniston

Karrie Denniston serves as Senior Director of Sustainability with Walmart.org. In this role, Karrie manages the strategy and grant-making for Walmart.org’s efforts to help create environmentally and socially sustainable supply chains globally. Her portfolio includes supporting sustainable food systems (hunger, healthier food, food safety), advancing livelihoods for workers and smallholder farmers across supply chains, and working to preserve the natural capital found in forests, oceans, land, and waterways. Prior to joining Walmart, Karrie served as the Vice President of National Programs at Feeding America, the largest hunger-relief organization in the US. She also worked in public service as a Policy Analyst at the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service – Child Nutrition Division. Karrie received a B.A. in International Relations from the State University of New York at Geneseo, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from George Mason University focused on Non-Profit Management.
