Courtney Schneider MPA ’23
Attending Week 2
Courtney Schneider is a Master of Public Administration fellow (’23) at Cornell University’s Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy and is concentrating in Environmental Policy with a certificate in Environmental Finance and Impact Investing. She is originally from Utah, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Utah in 2015. She then went on to work for Tesla for several years before beginning her journey at Cornell.
She is interested in all aspects of renewable energy and is currently working for the City of Ithaca Green New Deal, where she serves as a project manager. During the summer of 2022, she also served as an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellow, through which she assisted the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services in developing procurement requirements for their ongoing fleet electrification project. She is delighted by the opportunity to represent Cornell at COP27 and is looking forward to both sharing and growing her knowledge.
