Attending Week 2

Arden Podpora is a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences, majoring in Environment & Sustainability and Economics. As a TA for Dr. Allison Chatrchyan’s course, EAS 4443: Global Climate Change Science and Policy, I provide oversight to groups researching critical policy issues in advance of COP 27. I have previously conducted policy research on climate finance, with a specific focus on the efficacy of the Green Climate Fund. Beyond the classroom, I have engaged with environmental issues in the real-world, including internships in land conservation with a local non-profit and enterprise climate risk with a Fortune 500 insurance company.
