UPcycling Second-Hand Clothes

Apparel Design graduate student, Helen Trejo, describes a Cornell University College of Human Ecology project in Haiti to reduce used clothing waste by creating new garments from deconstructed clothes. With professors Tasha Lewis, Anil Netravali, and Huiju Park in the Department of Fiber Science and Apparel Design.

This video received first prize in the Atkinson Center’s 2014 Graduate Student Video Contest.
