Marine biologist Drew Harvell and filmmaker David O. Brown identified and filmed living examples of the original inspirations for the 19th century Cornell Blaschka glass model collection of marine animals. This film, narrated by actor and environmental activist, Ted Danson, was recognized by the 2015 BLUE Ocean Film Festival, in the Shorts category.
